Nadra Partners With Deck Building 101 To Foster A Working Relationship
Godfrey, Illinois. – The North American Deck and Railing Association (NADRA) is partnering with a booming new networking group that has grown to nearly 100,000 members in less than a year. Deck Building 101 is a community-oriented organization that currently utilizes its popular Facebook group to invite builders to share expertise and advice with other members. This exciting collaboration will enhance trade learning through the promotion of standards and best practices to accomplish the overarching goal of improving deck safety across North America.
“I’m a student of the game myself, always learning and evolving as a deck builder,” said Clint Webb, creator of Deck Building 101. “The 101 group is just a lot of other people like me that want to learn, educate, build, and master their craft. I’m amazed to see what the group has become and humbled to be working with NADRA to further the mission of serving the industry that we love.”
The 101 group highlights industry insights through its mission of expanding knowledge and collaboration. NADRA is a not-for-profit professional membership trade organization of the deck and railing industry that promotes deck safety methods and guides the writing and building of code and regulations with the ICC.
Together, these two entities agree to enhance knowledge, expand resources, and promote successful business relationships within the decking industry. By encouraging memberships and viewers to work cooperatively on issues of mutual concern, such as code, education, and safety awareness, they aim to support public awareness and education efforts.
“I can’t put into words what NADRA has done for my career as a deck builder – through the platform they provide with the national deck competition, the classes and resources, to the continued support they have provided my small business throughout our journey,” Webb said. “I’m excited to introduce the Deck Building 101 members to NADRA and all that they have to offer the next generation of deck builders.”
