At its heart lies a 27-foot diving pool, incorporated into a striking two- story structure that extends both above and below grade, supported by a cantilevered pillar for a breathtaking architectural feat. The space is further enhanced by an integrated, high-fidelity audio system and intricate custom tile work. Elegant fire features, including a central fire pit and decorative accents, add warmth and ambiance, while graceful water fountains bring a soothing, tranquil touch. Keylink vertical cable railings, used throughout the home, frame the panoramic views, ensuring no boundaries to the breathtaking sightlines of the majestic Rocky Mountains. A state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen invites al fresco dining, offering an exceptional space to entertain within a setting defined by limitless possibilities.

Beneath the deck, we have a stunning patio and walkway using flagstone, which adds a touch of natural beauty to the outdoor space. Two thoughtfully crafted staircases, each featuring spacious landings, provide easy access and contribute to the overall aesthetic.

Spanning an impressive 2,200 square feet, the deck showcases an elegant curve that beautifully aligns with the 14-foot granite rock retaining wall, creating a striking visual connection with the landscape. To enhance functionality, we employed the Trex RainEscape system, ensuring a waterproof surface, and finished the underside with rich 2×6 tongue- and-groove boards.

Nestled in the mountains, our stunning deck project presented unique challenges, particularly during a severe winter marked by a 3-foot snowstorm. Overcoming these obstacles, we meticulously excavated and poured 25 sturdy caissons, each having a footing up to 3 feet by 3 feet, ensuring stability on the steep terrain.

The ultimate backyard is what the homeowners wanted, the design and results exceeded those desires. The deck was restructured to have an open concept and expanded to give an open view of the pool by installing frameless glass illuminated panel railings. Added motorized screens for the deck and the underneath area has a ceiling to match the decking, along with new recessed heaters. The kitchen area is covered with a louvered roof pergola incorporated with a sheer rain curtain over entry into the pool. Also, a secondary freestanding deck across the pool matches the same material used on the deck and covered with another louvered roof pergola. Below that freestanding deck is the aluminum framing used as we wanted to make sure we had a lifetime product holding up that deck since it’s not accessible. We successfully worked through weather delays, all the tight access requirements, new lighting technology and products we have never used. Two years of planning have gone into this year long build and through literal blood, sweat and tears we completed this epic build. This family now has a backyard that gives them the ultimate enjoyment and a place for family and friends to enjoy.
