Dear NADRA Members and Supporters:
I am extremely pleased to let everyone know that the recent Deck for a Soldier® project for the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans, went very smoothly and was completed in just a few days after obtaining the permit. Several NADRA builders and suppliers all got together to create this beautiful curved deck on the home.
MVAC’s program director and administrators were extremely thankful and really could not believe that a program like ours exists. They were overwhelmed when they thought about how many veterans will use this great outdoor space.
I would like to thank, from the bottom of my heart, everyone involved in this project for their time and or materials. A special thank you goes out to Pat Noonan from Deck and Basement Co. for taking on the responsibilities of leading this project and Rick Wooton from Crossroads Remodeling for his contributions to the NADRA National Deck For A Soldier® committee. Many gave so freely to this project that it was inspiring to all. We certainly could not have gotten this project without the support of the best teams in the decking industry. NADRA Rocks!!
Respectfully,
Bruce Verblaauw
