GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., November 10, 2020 – The Ultimate Deck Shop, Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, has released its Deckorators® 2021 Product Launch Party Extravaganza episode on YouTube. In the video, the hosts of the popular “Ultimate Deck Podcast” review new Deckorators composite decking and deck railing accessories that will become available to building-material dealers and deck builders in early 2021.

The Deckorators 2021 Product Launch Party Extravaganza video features “Ultimate Deck Podcast” hosts Shane Chapman, Wade Laurent and Bryce Wolaniuk virtually discussing features and benefits of the new-for-2021 products with Deckorators senior marketing manager Jase DeBoer, while also interacting with dealer and contractor viewers on Instagram Live. The event marked the 100th episode of the entertaining and candid Ultimate Deck Podcast.

New composite decking and railing accessories products reviewed on the video include:

Composite decking 

  • Deckorators® TrailheadTM wood-plastic composite (WPC) decking, an entry-level composite with a 25-year removal and replacement warranty.
  • New color options for Deckorators® VistaTM decking, the brand’s popular WPC line. Silverwood (light gray) and Dunewood (medium brown) add color pairing options.
  • A new 9¼-inch width and 21-foot length for Deckorators® VoyageTM decking, offering new design choices for the premium mineral-based composite (MBC) decking.
  • 50-year structural warranty coverage for the MBC decking family of Voyage, Vault, Frontier, picture frame boards and porch flooring.

Railing accessories

  • Deckorators ALX aluminum post extensions that make it easy to install and hang outdoor lighting such as string lights and café lights.
  • Deckorators ALX Contemporary aluminum deck gate, which adds an attractive, safe entrance and exit point that coordinates with ALX Contemporary railing.
  • Continuous top rail brackets, which help achieve a unique, continuous railing look with for ALX Contemporary preassembled aluminum railing.

As part of the Deckorators product launch, which took place in the Denver, Colorado, area in early October, Deckorators collaborated with some local members of the Deckorators Certified Pro contractor program and Adaptive Adventures to build a wheelchair-accessible outdoor space for Ben Hernandez of Lakewood, Colorado. The deck’s design featured new Trailhead composite decking and new ALX aluminum post extensions for hanging bistro lights.

Deckorators Certified Pros volunteering their time and talent for the week-long charity build included Colorado Customer Covers & Decks (Morrison), Freedom Contractors (Denver), Rhino Constructors LLC (Denver), Precision Construction (Golden) and Techno Metal Post Pikes Peak Region (Colorado Springs). Some representatives from those companies joined the Product Launch Party Extravaganza episode to talk about the project and their businesses with the hosts.
