NEW LONDON, N.C., (September 15, 2015) – Architects, builders, and homeowners: Fiberon® now offers two outstanding wood-alternative decking options for use in Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) areas. Fiberon ProTect Advantage® FR capped wood-plastic composite (WPC) decking and Fiberon Paramount™ PVC Decking meet strict California fire codes, as well as offer exceptional aesthetics and industry-leading warranties. Fiberon ProTect Advantage FR capped WPC decking meets the requirements of the California SFM 12-7A-4 Part A for use in all WUI zones. ProTect Advantage is:

  • Backed by a residential 25-year limited performance and 25-year stain and fade warranty. (Commercial warranty available for qualifying projects.)
  • Capped on three sides with a patent-pending, PermaTech® surface material.
