A message from Fred Aldrich, NADRA New England Chapter President. Taken from the weekly NADRA Industry Brief.
March 30, 2011 | I would like to thank all those who attended our chapter meeting this past week in Providence, R.I. It is truly an exciting time in our industry and the events last week are a great example of that excitement.
At our third meeting of the New England chapter we had more than 40 members and prospective members join us in Providence. In addition we were joined by members of the Board of Directors of the National NADRA. This was a great turnout for a chapter that had its first meeting in February.
We discussed and learned about some great programs we hope to participate in at the local level:
* Deck Safety Month
* Deck for a Soldier
* Recognition awards – Deck Competition
NADRA New England Chapter meeting held at the Providence Biltmore in Rhode Island. Forty deck pros packed the room.
Most importantly we had a great opportunity to network with the best professionals in the decking and railing industry, from the leading manufacturers, distributors, to the best contractors.

A detailed agenda will be sent prior to that meeting. However the goal of establishing working committees to work on local chapter programs will definitely be part of that meeting.
