ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — Versatex Building Products has expanded distribution through Woodford Plywood, Inc. based in Albany, Georgia, with locations in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina.
“For the building-materials dealers we work so hard to satisfy, an effective distributor network is essential,” said Sales and Marketing VP Rick Kapres. “Our long-term goal is to make access to our value-adding products seamless, dependable and comprehensive.”
In addition, Kapres welcomed Jonathan McGoran to the Versatex market development team. McGoran will cover the Maryland-D.C.-Northern Virginia region. McGoran, 25, was born and raised in the western Pennsylvania town of Imperial. An Eagle Scout, he attended Slippery Rock University and graduated in 2020 with a BA in business management. He is now based in Winchester, Virginia.
“We are excited to bring Johnathan on board, and we feel he will have a significant impact on the builder-architect community, with great benefits for our dealer partners,” said Matt Cullen, Versatex’s Mid-Atlantic regional sales manager.
