WOLF TO OPEN 100,000 SF DISTRIBUTION CENTER TO SERVE NEW ENGLAND

Building materials supplier to expand volume, delivery speed and available products

 (York, Pa.) — WOLF today announced it will move its New England distribution hub from its current location in Worcester, MA, to a 100,000 square-foot site in Northborough, MA. WOLF is the largest supplier of kitchen and bath cabinets in the U.S. and a leading provider of building products in 33 states.

The larger distribution center will enable WOLF to provide an increased volume of kitchen and bath and building products to dealers in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and upstate New York.  WOLF will take full occupancy of the new site on September 22 , and will close its current facility, which the company has outgrown since it opened in January 2011.

The new facility offers 40,000 square feet of additional interior storage space and features:

• 3.2 acres of outside storage (an increase of 2.2 acres)
• 23 dock doors (an increase of 13 doors)
• Improved delivery and logistics due to physical location, access to highways and operational environment
• A contractor product training center for WOLF PRO certification, and more

WOLF will continue to distribute all the products available from the existing facility. In addition, WOLF will be stocking cultured marble vanity tops for faster delivery, and in early 2015, WOLF will be adding additional decking and railing offerings.

To celebrate the opening of the new facility, WOLF will be hosting an Open House for contractors, business owners and vendors on Wednesday, October 15, from 9 a.m. -6 p.m.

WOLF’s expansion of its New England facility is a result of the success of its strategic shift from a traditional two-step distributor into a sourcing company that develops products designed solely to meet the needs of independent dealers.

The company has launched also WOLF-branded cabinets, decking, railing and trim — all successful, made-in-America product lines introduced in the past three years and available exclusively through its 3,000+ dealers.
