NADRA CPAC: Consumer Product Awareness Charter
This consumer product awareness specification addresses labeling of wood-plastic composite (WPC), other composite, and plastic lumber deck boards with performance ratings. This specification was developed to fill an important void in providing the consumer with standardized ratings that can easily be interpreted to assist in the product selection process. This will provide information to the consumer, which will allow them to make a quicker and better decision when choosing between deck board manufacturers, or within different product lines from a single manufacturer. The benefits also extend to manufacturers, as this program allows them to more effectively market their products to consumers.
Committee Members:
- John Burkhart, JECS Demand
- Robert Rottinghaus, Universal Forest Products
- Barry John Davis, DPDS International LTD
- Gary Hobbs, AERT Inc.
- Vincent Carrubba, Admiral-Spacemaker, Inc.
